Life is a tragedy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think.

Jason and Smurfy go to SpaceShip 2000

The fair: Somehow better than expected.

I went to the read-through, which lasted so long. Oh, man, was it so long.

The play is so short, it shouldn't have taken over two hours to read a little more than half the play.

But, boy, did it take that long.

Anyway, Chris decided he wanted to come, and I had to pay for him because he was out of money, then Joey wanted to come, because he was supposed to have been there many hours before, and I picked Jason up, and we asked "Why can't we be friends", by, you know, War, then we made our way to the fairgrounds.

Obviously, it was about 4-5 hours shorter this year since we got there later, and ..yeah. We only walked around the midway once, but there was lots of things to ride anyway. We did everything I wanted too.

The major theme of the night, of course, was "Ride SpaceShip 2000". THis is a centrivical force kinda ride that usually blasts hard rock music out as you spin and spin and the walls go up into the air.

Well, it was located at the very back of the midway, so we had to walk around the thing to get there, stopping periodically to ride anything that looked cool and like it wasn't about to fall apart.

Moving backwards in detail here, by this point we had met up with Kristen and Emma and Tim and Emily and Chris (who had left earlier), Melissa, Stef, Kim, Mackenzie, Steph oppermun, the exchange student girl, Jarrod... and... uhh.. I think thats it? Anyway, the fireworks started while we were in line for the flying red thing again, so we all ran for a grassy area like last year, and we all laid down and it was cool.

Like last year.

It was nice. I almost fell asleep.

Then Emma kicked me in the back of the neck. Ha..a...Ow.

Anyway, we got up, rode the .. tilt-a-whirl, made our way through various funhouses et cetera, learned that the Latin phrase "Sic Transit Gloria" means The Mother Vineyard, which is a term used to describe this huge old grapevine blah blah blah I'll detail it later. (Unless Charles Harry Whedbee lied to me) anyway,

We finally made it to SpaceShip 2000. The cool guy, nor the cool woman were driving it this year.

They didn't even have the music playing. At all.

So it was kind of a "...well'p...yeah..." kind of moment.

We were gonna go bowling afterwards(the midnight bowling thing at AMF), but everyone left except for Jason and me so we decided to not do that.

We went to Waffle House.

Yeah.

I had no idea that Waffle House was so fantastic at 1:45 AM.

Man was it cool.

I mean, Jason and I ...yeah.

I mean, my eyes were very dry. Pretty red.

And we were just sitting there laughing at saying things like "DOUBLE WAFFLE WAFFLE DOUBLE WAFFLE" and "I GOT ASH IN THE BRAIN" and it was..

Whew.

It's not funny at all, now, no.

But when it's.. well, it wasn't even really funny 10 minutes afterward there.

But it was pretty funny during that time in which we called various voicemails and screamed about double waffles.

Haha.

So yeah.

I expect some of my friends will post pictures sometime soon. I'll share 'em with you I suppose.

All in all:

I'd give it three waffles out of five.

Triple waffles.
