Life is a tragedy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think.
CURSES! CAPS AGAIN!
Aye.
It's time for a good ol' fashioned rant, rave, and full out offensive manuver, people of mindsay.
And Bill Clinton.
Anywho.
It's some to my attention that for some reason I'm hangin' out with a bunch of whiny yankee democrats who happen to be liberals which is the same thing.
XD
BURN MY DEMOCRATIC FREINDS, BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURN
Man.
Okay, thats out of the way now.
If you guys get fat I'm killing all of you.
But I'm here today to address something for more random than politics.
E-mail.
Remember along time ago, if you are an old net-savvy senior like me, around the time of 1998.
There was hardly any such thing as "Spam"
Remember, how you would get 6 or 7 emails a day from people?
Yeah.
That doesn't happen anymore
Take this letter, from some idiot named MAYNARD...hahahahahahahahahaha
maynard...
gah.
anyway
..."Here is the trend: Lately, when emailing my groups for my political party, church, and service club, I have noticed slower, and much much fewer responses. Why is this? People tell me they are tired of opening their email, whether it be AOL, outlook, yahoo, whatever they use, and findind spam, viruses, and worms. Not to mention alarming messages like security breaches firewalls..etc..
How long would you keep your newspaper subscription if every morning it was wrapped in 2 or 3 pounds of garbage and ad's? I guess it will be back to telephone before long..."
Maynard (HAHAHAHAHAHA) Gross, Homer, Alaska.
hmm..So, like some chat rooms on the ol' AOHELL format, will email become some underground fringe of society thing?
Will it just simply fade into the past, with newer mediums coming into play?
Will people some day consider email the forerunner of modern communication, like landlines and cell phones today?
Also, when was the last time you just sat down and wrote am email? just randomly sat there and typed someone an email.
For me, it's been a long long long time.
I used to have email penpals from alll over the world, but now, it seems simpler to IM everyone.
Why email?
Time shall reveal it's secrets, I suppose.
Later rant-readers.
